REGISTER OF DEEDS CLERK

The Keith County Clerk’s office is accepting applications for a full time Register of Deeds Clerk until the position is filled. Main duties would involve filing land documents, and maintaining land records. Some of the other duties include monthly Accounts Receivable, filing fee reports with the State of Nebraska monthly, assisting the Accounts Payable clerk when needed, daily cash balance, issuing marriage licenses, answering phone and customer service. Requirements include typing, computer and accounting skills. Applicant must possess strong multi-tasking skills and have the ability to follow both oral and written instructions. Starting wage is $17.00. Keith County offers an excellent benefit package. Applications may be picked up at the County Clerk’s office in the Courthouse.
